Championship side Crystal Palace are clearly the biggest sporting interest in Croydon, important not just at 4.45pm each Saturday when the results come in on ticker tape to Inside Croydon Towers, but also for the impact that a leading professional sports club can have on the area.
Our occasional columns are less scoops, more swoops over the latest hot topics about the Eagles, and are contributed by a number of writers, including some of the regulars from the highly rated fanzine, Five-Year Plan.
