Is this the best Croydon pub to View the World Cup?

The View pub, on Selsdon Road, is among many Croydon pubs that are rising to the challenge of the World Cup by offering something a bit extra for its regulars.

Inside Croydon wants to hear your recommendations of the best Croydon pubs for watching the key moments in the month-long tournament, which kicks off later today, while England’s much-awaited opener against the United States promises a big Saturday night in pubs throughout the country.

The View, previously known as the Railway View,  calls itself “South Croydon’s local”.

Owners Steve Dewhurst and Tom McCullagh have refurbished and modernised the pub, and they say, provides “a stylish meeting place in South Croydon village”, offering real ale, plus “weekly quizzes and darts, to monthly karaoke, theme nights, and live bands”.
