The Crystal Palace International Film Festival opens today, and once again is screening the more than 100 films, chosen from more than 1,000 sent in from all over the world, while serving food and drink every night in “funked up venues”.
CPIFF, which has screenings through until November 19, has film makers flying in from around the globe to hold Q&As after their screenings and to be available to chat to an eager audience.
Mike Reiss, a Simpsons writer for 27 years who was one of the speakers at CPIFF 2015, said, “You run the very best film festival we’ve ever been to – and we’ve been to a lot!”
Short Film, Features, Horror/Sci-Fi, Animation, Documentaries, Comedy… it’s all here. Award winning comedian, author and columnist Mark Steel will be presenting the awards at the Gala Finale on November 19 at Stanley Halls.
