Creative writing workshop, Upper Norwood Library, from Jul 30

In this short writing course, you will be introduced to the art of storytelling and the versatility of language.

Starting with some easy and fun writing exercises to learn how to write characters, dialogue, settings and moods, participants will work towards creating your own short stories.

Suitable for those aged six to 16, the course is free (though donations are of course welcome).

The three-week course will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Mondays, July 30, August 6 and August 13.
