“Pissarro in Norwood” is the next history talk to be given by the Norwood Society’s regular meetings, next Thursday, May 21.

In the 1870s and 1880s the Danish-French impressionist artist Camille Pissarro lived in Norwood. The local scenes he painted are explored in the context of his life in a talk by local historian Richard Lines.

The talk begins at 7.30pm and is free to enter at Upper Norwood Library, 39-41 Westow Hill, Upper Norwood, SE19 1TJ. Donations to help cover costs are very welcome.
