Peppermint Muse Theatre Company returns to The Spread Eagle Theatre next Friday with The Colours of Kenny Roach, a five-star thought-provoking piece of new writing which premiered at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

Inspired by true-life accounts, The Colours of Kenny Roach, written by Rebecca Russell, charts the decline and fall of precociously talented, charming, self-assured artist and lecturer.
Projection of old masters and original artwork together with a soundtrack by The Smiths poignantly underscore the play.
A recognisable tale of self-destruction, told with simplicity, wit and painfully acute observation of alcoholism and its effects on loved-ones makes for a heart-breaking yet life-affirming audience experience.
