The Croydon Art Space will open its latest exhibition “People & Landscapes” to the public this Saturday, September 27.
The exhibition features works by Richard Sorrell, Peter Clossick, Leanne Harrison, Wienberg Sisters’, David Wolverson, Daisy McMullan, Galina Gumbarova, Martin Cade, Aferdita Fazliu-Drozd, Dorothy Solis, Monica Mardare, Elizabeth Knapp, Yulia Yoldina, Georgina Nicolaou, Tracy Nicholls and Sue McGonigle in Room 3.
Curator and exhibition organiser Paul Hall describes this latest exhibition as, “An exciting celebration of contemporary artworks which includes paintings, photography, ceramics, embroidery, glassworks and more.”
The Croydon Art Space is a small, private gallery on Lower Addiscombe Road, and is one of Croydon’s hidden gems, as Inside Croydon has described in reviews of some of its previous exhibitions.
Visits to the exhibit are free, but must be booked in advance, and there are limited time slots, so culture vultures are recommended to book early. Optional exhibition tours are held every hour. It is possible to obtain an Eventbrite ticket on the day (up to one hour before closing).
“This in-person event is a great opportunity to appreciate portrait and landscape art,” Paul says.
