Streatham Choral returns to Cadogan Hall with a vibrant performance of Joseph Haydn’s The Creation, one of the most joyful and imaginative works in the choral repertoire.
Inspired by Handel’s London performances, this radiant oratorio brings to life the wonder of the natural world through dazzling choruses, lyrical solos and richly coloured orchestration.
Conducted by Calum Fraser, the choir is joined by the acclaimed Brandenburg Sinfonia and an outstanding trio of soloists: Jessica Cale (soprano), Joseph Doody (tenor) and Johannes Moore (baritone).
Streatham Choral has built a strong reputation at Cadogan Hall, where previous performances have sold out and drawn praise for their “enormous feeling” and “agile and accurate singing” . Their performances of Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem have been described as “moving and thrilling”.
From the dramatic “Representation of Chaos” to the exuberant final choruses, The Creation is filled with humour, beauty and uplifting grandeur—promising an inspiring evening in one of London’s finest concert venues.
Tickets: £20–£30 (concessions available)
