Norbury residents’ associations to stage a high street clean-up

Norbury residents are getting together for a high street clean-up.

The high street in Norbury is to get a clean-up

“Litter and fly-posting is spoiling Norbury,” Paul Cowling of the Norbury Village Residents’ Association.

“Our high street, with its great restaurants and services, is riddled with seedy massage stickers and pavement grime, our lovely trees, bushes and open spaces  are used as dumping grounds for beer cans and bottles.

“If you want to do something about it, this is your chance.”

In association with Croydon Council, the local residents’ associations are organising a street cleaning day on Saturday November 12.

“All equipment will be provided. We just need you,” Cowling said.

“Can you give us a few hours of your time to put the pride and the ‘clean’ back into Norbury?”

If you would like to help, please email Cowling at jpcowling@hotmail.co.uk
