This year’s St Christopher’s Moonlight Walk takes place on October 21, starting at 8pm and is approximately four miles long and will take in the Shirley Windmill and the Addington Hills viewing platform.
To take part, walkers pay £20 (children aged 12-17 £10), and are asked to raise sponsorhip money for a very worthy cause – the St Christopher’s Hospice, which has been serving Croydon and south London for 50 years.
There will also be refreshments at the Chateau of Coombe Lane, which will be supplied jointly by the Rotary Clubs of Croydon and surrounds. There is a wheelchair friendly route available.
To take part, you must register before October 16.
All the money you raise will go directly to St Christopher’s Bereavement Services.
