Urgent track works will disrupt this weekend’s tram services

Check before you travel: track works will cause disruption this weekend

Transport for London has issued another late-notice announcement of closure of a large section of the tram network this Saturday and Sunday, November 23 and 24.

TfL says that the closures are caused by “emergency track works” along a stretch of track near Lebanon Road, Addiscombe, which will limit services between Croydon and Beckenham and Elmers End from 8.30pm on Saturday.

TfL said:

Trams will operate on November 23 between Wimbledon and Reeves Corner.

Trams will operate on November 24 between Wimbledon and Wellesley Road; George Street and Wimbledon; Sandilands and Beckenham Junction and New Addington.

There will be no service to Elmers End.

As is routine, TfL advises “allow more time for your journey” and check before you travel.
