Overground and Thameslink disruption for up to six weekends

Red lines: parts of the London Overground network will be disrupted by engineering works this weekend, and for five weekends thereafter

More disruption for Thameslink and London Overground passengers this weekend and into next week due to engineering works.

The London Overground network is affected by Network Rail and Tube engineering works, with no service on the Weaver, Mildmay and Lioness lines, and with the Windrush line from West Croydon also affected.

Some engineering works could affect services on these lines for the next six weekends – so always check before you set off.

On the Windrush line this weekend, January 18 and 19, Friday night Overground services will not call at Canada Water between 3.30 and 4.30am due to London Underground track work.

Transport for London advises, “Use local bus routes”, or “head to Surrey Quays or Rotherhithe”.

On Sunday January 19, there will be no service between Sydenham and Crystal Palace, due to Network Rail maintenance work.

On Monday January 20 to Thursday January 23 there will be no southbound service from Sydenham to West Croydon after 11.30pm, and from New Cross Gate to Crystal Palace/West Croydon after 11.45pm each night. “Use Southern Railway services or local bus routes.”
