Next is re-opening its store off Purley Way tomorrow morning after a full conversion from the previous home-only offering to now include key womenswear, menswear and children’s lines.
Transformed: Next off the Purley Way re-opens tomorrow with a much broader product offer
The massive refurbed shop – there’s 14,634 sq ft of trading space – on the Trojan Way business park will be open for business from 10am tomorrow, October 22.
This major move to the out-of-town location, which offers free parking, will inevitably prompt speculation about the future of Next’s shops in Centrale on North End, which is managed by Westfield.
Next said that the revised Trojan Way store, “marks a significant transformation for the Croydon location…
“The conversion aligns with Next’s latest store concept,” they said, talking of “enhancing the customer experience” by having “updated wall finishes, modern equipment, improved visual merchandising and a wide selection of mannequins”.
Next has more than 450 shops across the UK and Ireland, and operates online in 70 countries.
The Purley Way store’s manager, Karen Simons, said, “We’re excited to be bringing our full range of women’s, men’s, children’s and home collections back to Croydon. Our team is looking forward to welcoming both new and returning customers through the doors.”
Going forward, the shop will be open from 9am to 8pm on weekdays, 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm Sundays.
