Take some Positive Steps to help Mind: May 25

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, Mind in Croydon is holding a charity walk in Lloyd Park on May 25.

Starting at 10am, people can walk for up to 13 miles. “Please don’t let the distance put you off, we are encouraging people to walk as far as they can manage,” say the organisers. “There will be markers along the way so people can set their own goals.”

Other activities throughout the day are yet to be confirmed but spaces are limited so we urge you to get your registration in as soon as possible.

Registration is £10 for adults and £5 for children and you are welcome to bring your dog.

You can request a registration form here events@mindincroydon.org.uk

“If you don’t want to take part in the walk but would still like to get involved by volunteering on the day we would love to hear from you,” say the organisers.

Walkers are not obliged to collect sponsorship, although every penny counts. If you wish to raise money we have a JustGiving page . You are welcome to set up your own, but please make sure you raise money for Mind in Croydon, and not the national Mind charity.

Please email your completed form along with proof of payment to events@mindincroydon.org.uk or post to:
