Giorgio’s gorgeous Italian panettone are available in a range of sizes, chocolate to classic, from lemon to pistachio, and many more – ideal to help stock your holiday season larder, or for gifts for family and friends.

La Spezia’s regular range of cold meats, olives and salads are still available of course.

And the shop is open for lunch, 11.30am to 3pm every day (check for special opening times over the Christmas period)

then the charming La Spezia delicatessen in South Croydon is the place for you, offering a wide range of speciality foods and seasonal products.

Giorgio Rafaelli has stocked the finest Italian olives, cooking oils, meats, cheeses, sauces, homemade tortillas and arancinis and coffees for more than 10 years.

La Spezia is  just a short walk from South Croydon railway station at 12 Ye Market, on the corner of Selsdon Road and St Peter’s Road.

La Spezia is open long hours and is conveniently placed, whether you are picking up a coffee for the journey to work, or to buy some bread and shopping on your way home.

Some car parking is available nearby.

La Spezia is so well-known for the quality of its food, when the shop had a break-in, the thieves stole the store’s specialist olives.
