School’s special pupils stage their own climate change protest

St Giles School, where the pupils have special needs and were therefore unable to attend the global protests in central London last month over climate change, therefore staged its own march around the school grounds in South Croydon.

“It was a way of making a plea to politicians to take immediate action against climate change,” according to one member of the school staff.

“This was therefore an ideal opportunity for them to learn about climate change and have their say.”
