TV company wants to make a right meal out of Croydon

Come Dine With Me, the Channel 4 television food fest, is coming to Croydon in its next series, and the producers want five willing volunteers to each host a dinner party for four complete strangers, who can be expected to be thoroughly rude about the food and then have a poke through your bedroom drawers.

Applicants need to be 18 years old or older, live in and around Croydon and (it says here) “with a passion for cooking who want to demonstrate their skills”.

Filming takes place over five days, with a £1,000 cash prize for the winner.

Any senior execs from Croydon Council thinking about taking part need to realise that cooking the books does not count.
