One of the wonders of the worldwide interweb thingy is at least a degree of immediate accountability.
The 24/7 news cycle is not always a wonderful thing, but the availability of information online is certainly one area which adds to the democratisation of the way we are governed, our lives managed.
One real boon is the theyworkforyou.com website, which aggregates all the questions and speeches made in Parliament and Westminster committees by our MPs (apologies to any readers for whom this is a lesson in sucking eggs).
