Thanks to the Ianvisit blog for this heads up for those of us who won’t be following Palace’s first match of the League season tomorrow afternoon: a 90-minute walk through central London, visiting many of the landmarks associated with Samuel Pepys’ diary.
Ianvisit writes: “This walk visits many of the City’s surviving fragments of Pepys’ world. As well as learning about the momentous events he witnessed including the plague and the great fire, we will give you an insight into some of the personal events which are so vividly described in his diary.”
The walk is due to start at 2pm. For booking and further details, click here: The Hidden Diaries – A walk through the hidden London of Samuel Pepys :: IanVisits Events Guide.
