School where Moses led with his “educated” left foot

Apologies for the radio silence over the past couple of weeks, dear reader.

Have actually been very busy with other matters, while gathering one or two more stories that we hope will interest you.

There will be something posted here tomorrow, but in the meantime, we’d like to direct you to another south London blog, The Great Wen, written, edited and generally generated by Peter Watt.

This week, he’s revived a piece he wrote for a football magazine last year about another sporting aspect of Whitgift School.

Some interesting insights, all offering a new slant on the old commentator’s cliche of the “educated left foot”… by suggesting that the rest of the footballer should be educated, too.

Check it out here.
