The New Addington People’s Carnival committee raised £380 for this summer’s festival with a well attended Family Quiz Night on Friday evening.
Not covering themselves in so much glory was Assemble, the design body looking at how to spend the £500,000 of taxpayer money on New Addington’s Central Parade before election day in May.
Assemble was due to put together questions for the round about the history of New Addington.
But quiz mistress Marion Burchill said that this was one thing that they were unable to, err… assemble.
