Live and Unplugged On The Road at Surrey StrEatery, Apr 25

Live and Unplugged and Reaching Higher are teaming up for the third annual “Live and Unplugged On the Road” event at the Surrey StrEatery on Saturday April 25, from 7pm.

Reaching Higher YouthCharities being supported on the night include: Tearfund, ACLT and Kondanani Children’s Village.

Live and Unplugged will be providing the usual eclectic mix of performers who will be performing original material alongside well-known covers on an evening of amazing acoustic music, local food, prizes and a chance to get behind some great causes.

Live and Unplugged On the Road started in 2013, when 14 Croydon youngsters embarked on a 10-week volunteering trip to Bolivia. To help raise funds for the trip, they sought the help of both Reaching Higher and Live & Unplugged, resulting in an unforgettable night of entertainment and goodwill. The following year saw the launch of “Global View”, which aims to broaden the perspectives of young people around issues such as global poverty and injustice.

This year’s event will mark the greatest effort yet to reach out to local and global charities, the organisers say.
