Photographers are being encouraged with a £600 first prize to capture the essence of the River Wandle.
The Wandle Valley Regional Park Trust is running the competition, which will provide images of the river for its website.
The first prize is a £600 digital camera voucher donated by competition sponsors Cubiquity Media.
There are four categories to enter: Natural Wandle, Urban Wandle, Wandle Folk and Working Wandle.
The competition is open to amateur photographers of any age, living or working in the boroughs of Wandsworth, Sutton, Merton and Croydon and it has been organised by teams from the Wandle Valley Forum as it celebrates its 10th year, plus the Wandle Valley Regional Park Trust and Living Wandle Landscape Partnership.
The closing date is midnight on October 16, with the award presentation taking place at the Wandle Valley Regional Park Trust board annual meeting on December 10.
