The Letter: To be or to MBE, Stanley Halls, Nov 18-19

Jonzi D, the hip hop theatre artist and artistic director of Breakin’ Convention, presents his charismatic solo show about being awarded an MBE.

Jonzi DTold through the eyes of a colourful cast of characters, Jonzi, pictured right, uses choreopoetic language, politics and wit to paint a picture of “stunning rhythmical clarity” The Stage.

Accompanied by a commissioned score by Kwake Bass (Speakers Corner Quartet) and co-directed by Dawn Walton, The Letter is an intensely personal look at one man’s dilemma: To be or to MBE?

Performances at 8pm on Wednesday 18 and Thursday November 19, tickets £10 (£7.50 concs). Suitable for ages 14+
