The Norwood Society begins a series of workshops on how to conduct local and family research later this month.

Norwood Society logoThe fortnightly meeting begins on Thursday, January 28, at 10am at Upper Norwood Library. The group will use web-based and Upper Norwood Library resources to develop skills and share research. All are welcome.

Before that, the Norwood Society’s monthly history talk takes place this Thursday evening, January 21, also at Upper Norwood Library, Westow Hill, SE19 1TJ.

The first Norwood Society talk of 2016 will see Stephen Oxford reveal some important Norwood residents you might not have heard of or know little about.

Oxford will also be launching the new Norwood Society publication he has written: Exploring Upper Norwood South of All Saints’ Church.
