Local artist Pat Mear is staging another exhibition of her work at the Bethlem Gallery, at the Bethlem Royal Hospital on Monks Orchard Road from the end of this month.
The free exhibition will feature artworks ranging from large-scale canvases to intimate ink drawings.
Called Micro-Macro, the exhibit will show how Mear’s work explores her interests in both the grandeur and the minutia of the natural world. Her canvasses express a love of nature and are frequently balanced with undertones of environmental concerns that hang over our planet and natural resources.
The exhibit opens on Saturday, March 26, from 3pm to 5pm.
The exhibition continues from March 30, with opening times as:
Wednesday – Friday 10am – 5pm
Saturdays: April 2 and 30, 10am – 5pm
Gallery and museum open first and last Saturday of the month 10am – 5pm.
