The Wild Hunt, Croydon’s Morris side and Patricia Hay-Justice, the Mayor of Croydon, are kicking off the Morris dancing season in style by dancing at the Builders Arms in Leslie Park Road on St George’s Day.
“St George’s Day is the traditional opening day of the Morris season and the Wild Hunt are incredibly excited to have such a great first event for the season,” said Nuala O’Neill, a member of the Wild Hunt.
“We are very grateful to Debbie and the staff at the Builder’s Arms for their warm welcome. We enjoy dancing at the Builder’s.
“We are especially pleased to welcome Croydon’s Mayor, Councillor Patricia Hay-Justice. She has been a terrific supporter of Morris in Croydon during her Mayoral year.”
The event will take place at the Builder’s Arms, Leslie Park Road, commencing with the arrival of the Mayor at 1.15pm. First dance set 1.30pm.
