Friends of Wandle Park are seeking your help on Monday to help play a part in London Rivers Week.
The official launch of the week’s activities is being staged in Wandle Park and is to be featured on London Live.
The Friends group has organised a river litter pick and there will be a class of eight-year-olds pond dipping.
This is where you come in: For the London Live lunchtime slot – from noon to just before 2pm – they would like to have some short interviews with users of the park talking about the restoration and how the park is now.
And don’t be nervous about being interviewed on camera – London Live has so few viewers, if you get the family round to your living room to watch it later, you’ll probably double the viewing figures.
If you are prepared to do a short interview then please email andrew.dickinson@croydon.gov.uk
