Walk back through history with the Norwood Society

This month and next, the Norwood Society has two local history walks which each will last about 90 minutes:

Red sphinx head and transmitterThursday July 21 at 7pm. Crystal Palace to West Norwood. This walk will be led by Alun Thomas via Gipsy Hill.
Meeting place: Outside Sainsbury, Westow Street, SE19 3RW.

Thursday August 18 at 7pm. Church Road and The Triangle.
Led by Richard Lines.
Meeting place: In front of All Saints Church, Beulah Hill, SE19.

The Norwood Society’s next talk, to be held at Upper Norwood Library, is on Thursday September 15 and is entitled: “Dangerous Women of South London”.
