Drawing tour with artist Charlie Reed, Wandle Park, Aug 13

Turf Projects is staging a drawing tour of Wandle Park with artist Charlie Reed this Saturday, August 13.

Charlie ReedThis is a free event, and materials are provided.

Meeting at the park cafe at 1pm, the organisers say: “Explore the relationship between nature and man-made structures within landscape at Wandle Park. In groups or individually, use simple collage and drawing techniques to interpret the landscape of the park and the Croydon skyline.”

For the past two years, Charlie Reed has created paintings, prints, collages and drawings based on areas surrounding the River Wandle.

The exhibition of Reed’s work, “River Wandle: A Constant Amid Change” is on display at Turf’s gallery on Keeley Road in Croydon until this Saturday.
