There’s another chance tonight to see the Wild Hunt Bedlam Morris troupe perform, if you missed last week’s spectacular Croydon Night of Dance.
The Wild Hunt – with their mysterious black masks and costumes, pictured above – have a dance-out in King George V Field, Sydenham Road, West Croydon on Tuesday August 23.
“This is danced in twilight, so the Wild Hunt with their masks and lights look distinctly gothic,” according to Nuala O’Neill. This event is supported by the Eleanor Shorter Trust and Croydon Rotary.
The Annual Wild Hunt Day of Dance takes place on September 17, when they will be celebrating the group’s anniversary by dancing at various locations around the St Katherine’s Dock and Tower of London area. We will be joined by Morris friends from Rampant Rooster (from Dorking), Dead Horse Morris and the Broomdashers (from Whitstable) and Croydon friends Old Palace Clog.

Old Palace Clog will be dancing in central London with the Wild Hunt next month
