The Croydon Photography Forum returns for its monthly meeting on Tuesday with something which will delight and intrigue anyone with an interest in fashion, and fashion photography.
Anna Radchenko is a London-based visual artist and fashion photographer, who has successfully expanded her arts practice to incorporate the moving image. Her passion for set design, creative concepts, wild fashion and contemporary art allow her to develop very interesting bodies of work.
From Moscow, Radchenko has been described by the magazine Russian Art and Culture as “one of the exciting new talented breed of Russian artists that are now using London as their creative base”.
It says that she “… works with all mediums in creating visual works on human emotions and observations of the modern world through installations and photography”.
After her debut London exhibition, Melancholy Rooms, in 2015, Made in Shoreditch said, “Anna’s fusion of western influences against the Russian stark style brings eye-catching statements on human emotions”.
Radchenko is now also a tutor at the London Institute of Photography.
To hear Radchenko talk about her photography and other work, come along to the Croydon Photography Forum, at the CVA Resource Centre, 82 London Road, CR0 2TB, this Tuesday, November 8, from 6.45pm.
Admission is free, but donations are more than welcome to assist with the costs associated with running the Forum, and attendees are asked to register in advance by clicking here.
