COPSE organises a group ramble into Kent, Feb 19

The next meeting of COPSE, the Croydon Outdoor Pursuits and Social Events group, is a 12-mile country walk in Kent this Sunday, February 19.

group-walkMeeting at East Croydon Station at 9am to catch a train, the organisers say that the walk is an anti-clockwise loop near Edenbridge, reaching as far south as Dry Hill with its extensive views.

“This is your chance to challenge yourself on a distance a little more than what we tend to do on our day walks,” they say.

Warm and shower-proof clothes and strong walking footwear are advised.

Bring snack food and a packed lunch. Soup and hot drink if you can. Folding mat or plastic bag to sit on can be useful. Water. If hot food is desired at the end of the walk there are potential food outlets at Edenbridge. If pubs are not doing food there are takeaways and a restaurant.
