Stride out for Croydon’s half-marathon challenge, Apr 2

The Croydon Half-marathon takes place on Sunday April 2.

Hosted by Striders of Croydon, this two-lap race around the leafy roads of Croydon that should see between 300 to 400 runners take part either as part of their training for the London Marathon, or just for the fund-raising achievement of completing the 13.1-mile course.

Starting and finishing from playing fields close to the Sandilands tram stop, the race offers a challenging test into the Addington Hills, around Lloyd Park and Shirley Park golf course. Last year’s event was won in 1hr 14min, with the first woman finishing in 1hr 24min.
