Memorial service for Maggie Mansell to be held at Minster

Maggie Mansell

A memorial service paying tribute to Maggie Mansell will take place at Croydon Minster on Tuesday January 29, the council has announced.

Until her death earlier this month, Mansell had been one of the longest-serving members of Croydon Council, having first been elected in 1986.

The service will begin at 11.30am, with attendees asked to arrive by 11.15am. The Vicar of Croydon, Rev Canon Dr Andrew Bishop, will lead the service.

Well-wishers are asked not to bring flowers but to make a donation to the South East Cancer Help Centre in Purley.
