Crisis Skylight Centre donations welcome at Minster’s service

Croydon Minster is holding a special collection for charity Crisis Skylight Croydon at its Sunday morning service on January 5.

Crisis Skylight Croydon supports people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

In this collection, the Minster is seeking donations of toiletries, including toothbrushes; toothpaste; roll-on deodorants; moisturiser; hand cream; men’s socks and boxers (new, not second hand please).

They would also welcome “unisex basics” including T-shirts; sweatshirts; hoodies; joggers.

And they would also welcome men’s and ladies’ warm winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves, any colour, style, or size.

“Please place them to the side of the icon of St John the Baptist by the altar rail,” the church says.
