READER OFFER: £5 off tickets for skateboarding play at Polka

Inside Croydon is delighted to offer our readers a special, money-saving offer on tickets for Sisters 360, a new play being performed at the Polka Theatre, opening in March.

Inspiration: Sky Brown has won Olympic medals at two Games before she was 16 years old

This exciting, skateboarding saga has been inspired by real-life sisters Layna, Maysa and Amaya, and their hero, teenaged Olympic medallist Sky Brown. It is written for the stage by Asif Khan.

The plot is along these lines: Fatima and Salima are the closest, coolest, hijabi step-sisters in all of Bradford and they will win the Tiny is Mighty skateboarding competition, there is no doubt about it.

They’ve practised every trick in the book, and look (almost) as good as Sky Brown on the telly. Nothing will stop them. Except their parents have started whispering in the kitchen about living apart… about moving to different cities… only seeing each other in school holidays.

Sister act:‘Fatima’ and ‘Salima’ are ready to take centre stage in their skateboard saga

How will the sisters perfect their routine and win gold if their whole lives are about to turn 360?

You can find out how the story ends by booking tickets for performances of Sisters 360 at the Polka Theatre.

The play runs from Saturday March 22 to Sunday April 27.

The play is recommended for ages eight to 12 years old. Note: All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or young person aged 16 years or over.

Performances last approximately one hour. There will be relaxed and BSL-interpreted performances during the run.

The Polka Theatre is at 240 Wimbledon Broadway, SW19 1SB – just a walk from Wimbledon Station and tram stop
