Three pupils from Oval Primary have won a regional competition with Amazon and Comic Relief to have their art displayed at their local Amazon Fresh store for Red Nose Day.

The children’s work was judged from more than 200 entries from across London. The winners also took home a Red Nose Day goody bag, as well as their school receiving a bake sale kit.
Over the last 40 years, Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day has raised £1.6billion for charities in this country and around the world, supporting more than 100 million people. The 2025 Red Nose Day telethon took place on the BBC on Friday evening, with thousands of participants doing something funny for money.
Amazon is an official partner of Comic Relief, and throughout March, Amazon employees have helped to raise money for Red Nose Day 2025.
Croydon’s Amazon Fresh store is in Ruskin Square, next to East Croydon Station, and not very far from Oval Primary (it would be a good deal closer if Network Rail open their pedestrian bridge link to Cherry Orchard Road).
“We loved bringing the pupils’ designs to life at the Croydon Amazon Fresh store in celebration of Red Nose Day,” said Amazon UK’s Eugenie Teasley.
“Their creative and colourful images have already brought a smile to the faces of so many people and we hope people across Croydon get involved in Red Nose Day this year, having fun while helping to raise life-changing money for Comic Relief.”
