You can get decent discounts at Pizza Express, make savings at a local health club and get free food at Wagamama with a Croydon loyalty card that has just been released for visitors to the town centre.

The Checkout Croydon Card is a free-to-download digital scheme, offering discounts across local food, drink, retail and leisure businesses in the town centre.

Free to download – just click here to sign up – the Checkout Croydon Card unlocks a growing range of deals for residents, workers and visitors to Croydon. “The initiative aims to support the local economy by encouraging people to explore more of the town centre, stay longer and spend locally,” the organisers say.

Participating local businesses are offering exclusive cardholder-only discounts include:

  • 25% off food anytime at Basil & Grape
  • 20% discount Monday – Thursday at Pizza Express, George Street
  • 15% off memberships at Nuffield Health
  • Free side with any main at Wagamama

Signing up is simple. Users register to receive a digital card that can be added to their Apple Wallet (for iPhone) or Google Pay (for Android devices).

To redeem an offer, users simply need to show their Checkout Croydon Card at participating businesses.
