Natasha Irons, the MP for Croydon East, has organised an Advice Fair on Saturday October 4 between 10am and noon, to be held in New Addington.
The event is free to attend and will be providing help and ideas across a range of issues, including debt, the cost of living crisis, jobs and energy bills support. Attendees need to book a ticket in advance.
The event is exclusively for Croydon East constituents, and while the location of the venue has not yet been confirmed publicly, it will be within easy reach of a local tram service.
A range of agencies, government departments and companies will be attending, including:
Department for Work and Pensions- Croydon Community Energy
- Croydon Healthy Homes
- Debt Today, Free Tomorrow
- Croydon Plus Credit Union
The Family Centre in New Addington, one of the partner organisations behind the event, has been doing a lot of work for residents alongside the CroydonPlus Credit Union, encouraging residents to use safer loan options and save.
