The Croydonites Festival is offering Inside Croydon readers half-price tickets – while seats are available – for one of its headline acts: James Rowland Dies at the End of the Show.
With a cheeky poster that almost got Inside Croydon slung off Bluesky, this show, acclaimed at the Edinburgh Fringe, is being performed at The Front Room, St George’s Walk, this Friday, October 17, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £15 (£10 for concessions; suitable for children aged 14 and over), but with the special discount code of Inside Croydon readers, you get in for £7.50 (same for concessions), while seats remain available.
What would you do with an hour?
What if it was your last hour ever?
For James Rowland the answer is easy: he wants to tell you a story. A story full of laughter and music and joy. A story about living. The third and final part of a trilogy that began with Learning to Fly.
The reviews of Rowland’s performances in Edinburgh were effusive in praise.
- “If you’ve never seen Fringe stalwart James Rowland, stop reading and immediately book tickets: you can thank me later,” said the five-star review from Three Weeks.
- The Scotsman called Rowland, “A master storyteller”, and gave him four stars.
- “Breathtakingly funny,” said Binge Fringe.
- And Theatre Review also gave the show four stars, describing it as, “Joyful.”
