Take the kids to see London City Lionesses for just a quid

Match of the day: kids can go for just £1 to this Sunday’s Women’s League Cup clash at Hayes Lane when London City take on Leicester

London City Lionesses are opening their gates for half-term with a budget-friendly Kids for a Quid offer.

London City, in their first season as a Women’s Super League side, will this Sunday, October 19, be in League Cup action against Leicester City at the CopperJax Community Stadium – better known as Hayes Lane, long the home of Bromley FC.

“The fixture offers a chance for families to enjoy live football at the start of half-term, with tickets priced at £1 for children and £5 for adults,” the Lionesses say.

From noon on Sunday the Family Fanzone will be open, featuring music, games, giveaways, and player signing opportunities ahead of the 2pm kick-off.

There will be food and drink available (alcohol served after 12), and fans can also purchase a 2025-2026 London City replica kit before joining the stands.

Jocelyn Prêcheur, London City Lionesses’ head coach, said: “We can’t wait to welcome families to the CopperJax for a fantastic day of football and fun.

“This match is a brilliant way to start the half-term – it’s full of energy, and a great opportunity for supporters to enjoy the atmosphere and experience what London City is all about.”
