Help the community kitchen provide emergency winter grants

SUPPORT
THE SOUTH NORWOOD COMMUNITY KITCHEN’S
WINTER FUNDRAISER

We provide hardship grants for local people in urgent need right across the borough, and we are asking for donations to enable us to continue this in 2026.

We have seen a huge increase in demand for our hardship grant this year, with the housing crisis worsening, cost of living rising and benefit sanctions increasing. We know that our community is struggling more than ever, and with winter coming we know that things will only get more challenging with heating bills increasing.

Our emergency hardship grants provide urgent, small-scale financial support that can make a huge difference to someone’s quality of life. Grants include emergency accommodation for people experiencing homelessness, gas and electricity top up, basic mobile phones, sanitary and baby products, and debt support.

All donations go directly to anyone who needs it, so every penny counts.
