The Colors of Harmony at the Fairfield Halls next month marks a special 40th anniversary celebration of renowned Japanese composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, whose music for games such as Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has a devoted global following.
“This concert has very much been created by fans, for fans, celebrating the worlds and music that mean so much to its audience,” the promoters say.
And Inside Croydon is delighted to offer our readers a 50% discount on ticket prices for the concert, which will be performed by the Fairfield Halls’ resident orchestra, the London Mozart Players.
The Colors of Harmony marks the world premiere of a unique symphonic celebration dedicated to the extraordinary 40-year career of composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, whose evocative soundtracks have brought to life the fantastical worlds crafted by renowned Japanese studios Vanillaware and Square Enix.

“Beyond the concert itself, Fairfield Halls will host a full day of attractions for fans of Sakimoto’s music,” the Fairfield Halls says of its programme for June 13.
“Together with Final Fantasy Union, we are organising a special Final Fantasy Pub Quiz hosted by Darryl from Final Fantasy Union and Ben Starr, best known as the voice of Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI – an event like no other, celebrating beloved worlds and melodies in a social, entertaining setting.
“We plan to have quite a few special guests there to guide each party on their quest for victory.
Fans will also have the rare opportunity to attend an educational talk with Hitoshi Sakimoto, hosted by Alex Moukala.
