Inside Croydon readers can get a 15% discount on their entry fee for the much-anticipated Anspach and Hobday midsummer beer festival later this month – where the entry ticket includes your first pint free!
The independent brewers are bringing back their very popular brewery festivals, starting in their Croydon taproom on Saturday, June 20.
Open from noon until 9pm, the celebration will bring together fresh pours, seasonal brews, street food, music and the best of the London beer community for a midsummer gathering – and all just a short tram ride away from Croydon town centre.
Festival-goers can expect a wide-ranging beer line-up from Anspach and Hobday, alongside guest brews, specials and classics served throughout the day in the brewery’s taproom.

Top of the pops: Anspach and Hobday’s London Black porter, brewed by the Croydon tram tracks
In addition, London Black – the nitro porter that topped the 2025 Top 50 UK Beer Awards for its exceptional flavour and quality – will be available, a testament to the brewery’s role in reviving porter as the city’s original style.
Other notable breweries in attendance include: Signal Brewery, Drop Project and Wimbledon Brewery.
- Tickets are £10 , which includes entry and the first pint.
- Early bird tickets are available for £7.50 until one week before the event (June 13).
“Midsummer is all about great beer, good people and making the most of long summer days. We’re excited to welcome everyone back to Croydon for a full day of fresh pours, food ad music, and celebration at the brewery,” said brewery co-founder Jack Hobday.
The event is expected to attract beer lovers from across London and beyond, with early bird tickets expected to sell quickly.
