Three men appear in court charged with Westow Hill murder

Three men have been charged with the murder of Kamahl Cameron-Williams on Westow Hill on Sunday.

The men were due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.

The Metropolitan Police have named them as:

Isaiah Adio-Weathers, 23, of Evelyn Street, Lewisham
Amari Auguste-Francois, 21, of Malpas Road, Hackney and
Ellis Shakiem, 23, of Denmark Road, Southwark

They were also charged with attempted murder. Auguste-Francois was additionally charged with possession of a bladed article.

“The charges relate to the fatal stabbing of 31-year-old Kamahl, who died in Westow Road, Crystal Palace, just after 4am on Sunday, June 21,” the Met said today.

Initially, the police said that six people were arrested after the fatal stabbing.

Now the Met says that a 17-year-old boy and three men, aged 19, 30 and 45 who were arrested have been bailed pending further enquiries.

The police continues to appeal for witnesses, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage: contact the police via 101, quoting 1302/21JUN. Alternatively, anyone who wishes to remain entirely anonymous, can contact us via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee, who is leading the inquiry, said: “Anyone with information that may assist our investigation is urged to speak to us as a matter of urgency.”
