Venture Catalyst Croydon, a business networking organisation, has its regular weekly meeting in central Croydon tonight (Tue June 8) from 6pm.

According to Venture Catalyst’s own website, “Generating business referrals is the most important reason why businesses join networking groups and is the prime focus of every Venture Catalyst network meeting.”

The organisers suggest that members of the group build a network with other local business people at a rate of up to three new contacts each week. “Every one of those guests at the weekly meetings is a potential client for group members and a potential referer to their wider network.”

Attending a Venture Catalyst meeting is free on the first occasion, £5 for a second meeting and £10 per meeting thereafter.

There are also networking groups established in Coulsdon and Reigate.

VC Croydon’s business networking group typically meets every Tuesday evening at the Aerodrome Hotel, Purley Way.
