Police renew warnings to schools over abduction fears

Police have warned schools across Croydon to have staff manning the front gate, in the wake of what is being investigated as a possible child abduction in New Addington last night.

The latest police warning follows a series of similar incidents around primary schools in the Kenley area last month.

Officers have been visiting schools across Croydon, asking staff to make sure all their students are seen being dropped off and picked up by family members.
