Selhurst Park is to stage another international amateur boxing tournament, when England take on Scotland under the marquee raised on the pitch on May 16.

A little bit of the Olympics in south-east London: the England v Scotland boxing international could include some London 2012 hopefuls
This follows a similar event being staged last year, when England won 5-2 against the best young boxers from Ireland.
“We are delighted to be able to work again with the ABA to put on another magnificent night of boxing in the marquee,” Phil Alexander, the chief executive at Crystal Palace, was quoted in a club statement.
“Last year’s event was recognised by the ABA as one of the best in 2011, and this year’s will be bigger and better. With the Olympics just around the corner it will be great to witness the potential Olympic champions of the future.”
Seven great fights – including one women’s bout – is lined up for the evening’s black tie event, “as well as a superb three-course meal, a sporting auction, raffle and some very special guests”, the publicity blurb says.
Tickets are £79.99 plus VAT per person, and tables for 10 guests are £750 plus VAT. There are limited premium tables close to ringside available at £1,000 plus VAT, and there are also exclusive sponsorship opportunities available for each bout. Contact the sales team for further information.
