Croydon engages: August 8 at 8pm

On August 8, at 8pm, there will be a Silent Coming Together of any person in Croydon who wishes to reflect on the first anniversary of the Croydon riots.

The event is not organised by any political party. Individuals and groups of any persuasion are welcome to join in but we ask that we stand as one, so please no promotion of any kind in the form of banners, political symbols or advertising. It is also not a photo opportunity for anyone but a time to come together and heal.

The gathering is in Queen’s Gardens. Please be there in time for the start at 8 o’clock.

Please let Engage Croydon know you are attending. You are not registering: simply say how many people in your group are coming. Individuals are equally welcome.

Email: engagecroydon@gmail.com

Finally. What is Engage Croydon? It is an evolving group set up to engage Croydon residents on the important issues affecting us all. Everyone is welcome to be part of it.
